2005 COPA McKinney Soccer Tournament

Garland, Texas - The Manchester Soccer Club will be holding tryouts for their Youth Academy and Youth Select soccer teams.  If you have an aspiring soccer player, be sure to attend these tryouts. Tryouts will be held at the Garland YMCA located at 1709 N. Garland Ave (Just South of the intersection of Garland Ave and Buckingham).  The schedule is as follows:

July 22nd 

          

   Boys 1999 U-10    7:00 pm – 8:00 pm   

   Boys 2000 U-9      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm                                     

   Boys 2001 U-8      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

    Boys 2002 U-7      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

July 24nd           

    Boys 1999 U-10    7:00 pm – 8:00 pm                              

    Boys 2000 U-9      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm     

    Boys 2001 U-8      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm                                 

    Boys 2002 U-7      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

All players, old and new, must wear soccer shoes, cleats, shin guards, bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

ManchesterSC HQ - McKinney, Texas  - 

The weather is consistantly hitting 100-degrees.  It must be that time of the year when young and old alike scroung for their cleats, consider purchasing new shin guards, and most likely washing their uniform for the first time since last season.  It's soccer season.

Some of us need a little motivation, some need to be pushed, and some need to loose several (lbs).  Either way, shape or form, we'll be ready to take the field and re-live the glory days of our youth.  Play like champions will echo across the fields on August 17.  Gentlemen, kick them hard... kick them straight... and kick them to win.  Good luck.

Soccer Players Needing A Home - The Manchester Soccer Club is extending its recruiting invitation to the adult residents of the City of McKinney.  The Club has recevied an overwhelming amount of emails and calls from Parents of McKinney Soccer Association players interested in playing league soccer as adults.  There are benefits of playing for a ManchesterSC team, wearing the Club's Crest, and being a member of the Club:

  • You will play for a Club that has one of the oldest and richest soccer histories in the DFW area.
  • You can start a new career in soccer after high school, college or if you are new to the area.
  • We currently support Men's soccer and instrumental in their local Associations (NTPSA.org).
  • You can play for any one of the 5 different age divisions available; Men's Open, Over-30, Over-40, Over-50 and soon Over-55.

  • You can develop friendships that last a life time and span divisions.
